Dollar Hits Lowest Level in Three Years

Amidst intense speculation of a recession, the US dollar hit its lowest point in three years against the Japanese yen after US retail sales reportedly dropped in December. The dollar fell to 106.85 yen at 10:55 am EST from 108.16 yen the day before.
